The division in the fold of the ACN is now deepening with counter accusation from parties in the divides.

One of the officers reported to have been suspended the publicity secretary Jerry Needam in a statement said the acting chairman of the party was suspended for allegedly negotiating and accepting monetary inducement running into millions of naira.

Jerry Needam said the suspended chairman had always canvassed the need to work with the Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi.

Jerry Needam also insisted that he remains an official of the ACN and that the last working committee meeting of the party attended by the National Treasurer and the party governorship candidate did not discuss suspension of members of the party.
