The main traits of Aspergers (which I have, late diagnosis) are struggles with social cues and even withdrawn behavior which is perceived as uncaring or cruelty by those who do not understand how Aspergers works. More people with Aspergers are bullied/ostracized because they don't seem empathetic enough. Aspergers is not a disorder to be cured, you don't develop it. It's a mental difference which forces us to operate differently. Don't ever misdiagnose someone simply because you're intimidated someone who functions diffiently. Aspergers isn't the desire to put other people down to feel better, but due to people with Aspergers being very matter of fact and to the point it's often percieved as a lack of empathy, when aspies often genuenly care but do not naturally have the functions to show it.
