The member representing Port Harcourt constituency two in the Rivers State House of Assembly Victor Ihunwo has decried the level of flooding in Port Harcourt.
The lawmaker Victor Ihunwo told correspondent Ruskin Amadi on telephone that the menace is as a result of the neglect of the state government due to the attention been paid to issued concerning the Nigeria Governors Forum election outcome.
The lawmaker Victor Ihunwo is therefore calling on the Rivers State governor, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi to focus more on rendering services to people of Rivers State instead of issues about the Nigeria governor forum.
Meanwhile residents of Woji area of Obio/Akpor say floods are chasing them out of their homes.
One of the residents told our correspondent on telephone that they are scared following the signs of fresh rainfalls.
