The people of Rumupirikom community in Obio/Akpor local government area say they have not hired or given out any of their public halls or playground to the Chikordi Dike led caretaker committee in Obio/Akpor for the purpose of inaugurating the allocation of committee for the Obio/Akpor ultramodern market.

Chairman of the Rumuepirikom town council Prince Nelson John stated this in reaction to an announcement that Rumuepirikom is the venue for the inauguration of the Obio/Akpor ultramodern market allocation committee.

The chairman of Rumuepirikom town council Prince Nelson John said the caretaker committee of Obio/Akpor did not contact the community before going on air to announce their community as venue for the said market allocation committee.

The Rumuepirikom community therefore called on the Chikordi Dike led caretaker committee to keep clear of the community for the purpose of the inauguration of the Obio/Akpor ultramodern market stalls allocation committee.
