The untold side of abortion:
AN ANONYMOUS READER wrote: My mother -in-law, who died at 99, had an abortion while in her teens.

She mourned that decision for the full balance of her life.

On the anniversary of the day, she would go somewhere, alone, anesthetize herself with alcohol and weep.

I oppose abortion, but even more, I deeply pity young women who make that choice.

The unwillingness of our society to even inform them of the magnitude of their action, or its' potential impact upon their lives is, all by itself, a tragedy of almost unimaginable proportions.
Young women are scammed into it nowadays, only to realize afterwards how horrible it was, which does a lot to explain the huge numbers of women who are now on antidepressants. The educational system and other information venues are absolute amoral scams that really might fool people into the wrong choice, people tend to trust that which has the most authority, and in this day and age, rather than daddy and hubby, the state is most powerful. And the state "daddy" is evil.
