There are indications that the Godspower Ake led Peoples Democratic Party is planning to file an application calling for a stay of execution on the judgment delivered by Justice Ishaq Bello.

Sources said lawyers to the G.U. Ake PDP have already commenced work on the application.

Close associate of Godspower Ake described the judgment as a miscarriage of justice.
