Two transport firms combatting in blank verse?
I never thought that I would see the day.
And if you think that's bad, here's what is worse:
Haiku is hard to come by in LA.

It's not that you can't count the syllables,
And yes, we know you're often erudite,
But Bay Area nerds in cubicles
Can out-Haiku you all and get it right.

And now that we're on sonnets, you can't pass
(I doubt that any one of you would know
An iamb if it bit you on the ass)
So quit while you're ahead. It's time to go.

The bards of BART can beat you any day.
Surrender or be vanquished, O LA.
