U.S. "transfer of nukes" to Germany no big deal
Germany already had U.S. nukes, (which the German population did not want stationed there.) The German people managed to get a majority of the U.S. nukes removed via protest years ago, but 20 remained, and these are being traded out for newer fresher up-to-date bombs. The bigger news in all of this is that the German people do not want U.S. nukes on their soil to begin with, and yet they are still there anyway . . . . and I bet many readers did not know - even Turkey has a similar number of U.S. nukes on their soil as well. This is actually quite common, many countries keep American nukes on alert, and have agreements to launch on orders from the U.S.
