WHAT IS KNOWN IN THE MURDER CASE OF HARUKA WEISER SO FAR
Haruka Weiser was an 18 year old freshman student and Dance major at University of Texas. Her specialty was ballet. She hailed from Portland, Oregon. [9] She graduated from Arts & Communication Magnet Academy - Beaverton, Oregon in 2015. [16] Haruka was a fan of crafts, food and fashion.
Death
On April 7, 2016 her body was identified of the one found in the Waller Creek Area of University of Texas behind the Alumni Center. She was last seen leaving the drama building at around 9:30 p.m. on April 3. Her roommates called police later that night when they never heard from her.
Her body was located between 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on April 5. There are no suspects with the Austin Police Department. There is a $15,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. The only description of a possible person of interest is a black male standing about 6 feet tall and riding a woman's bicycle pink in color.
