You’ve been with Liam for about a few months and today is the day you’re meeting his family for the first time. It is a really hot day and you have the roof of the car down and he drives you and all the way you’re listening to the radio singing along. Suddenly WMYB comes on. You’re both singing the words at the top of your lungs:

“YOU DON’T KNOW YOU’RE BEAUTIUL-U-UL! THAT’S WHAT MAKES YOU BEAUTIFUL!”

Liam reaches over to the radio and turns the volume down and turns to you.

“Seriously babe, you’re beautiful and I know my family are going to love you as much as I do.”

You arrive at his family house and his mum opens the door.

“Hello you must be Sammi. I’m Karen.” She reaches her hand out.

You shake her hand and introduce yourself. You go into the living room and Liam’s sister, Ruth, is sitting there beaming a smile at you.

“Hey I’m Ruth, you’ve really had a big impact on Liam. He really loves you and he’s definitely a different person now. He’s always happy and never stops talking about you. He never stops smiling” Ruth explained.

Liam shoots her a look.

“Oh and the day he first met you, he came home and was really upset. He was talking about how pretty you were and how he thought you’d never go for a guy like him.” Karen added.

You turn to Liam. “You never told me that, Liam.” You smile.

“Thanks Mum.” He rolls his eyes.

“No it’s cute.” You reassure him. He leads you into the kitchen, excusing you both from the living room.

“I still think it though Sammi...you’re too good for me. You’re the most amazing, prettiest and smartest girl I’ve ever met. I don’t deserve someone like you. You deserve better, I love you.”

He leans to you and pulls you to his body, tightly.

“That’s not true...” You say pushing away from his body looking into his eyes. “...I can’t get anyone better, because you’re the best. You’re the one I want and love.”

You quickly resume your position against his body.

“I love you.” He whispers kissing the top of your head.
