How 8 Youtubers saved me from depression and an abusive relationship

Starting in 2013, I've dealt with depression. From late 2013 to early 2015, I was in an abusive relationship. When it ended, I felt liberated and terrified and alone all at the same time. This is where these guys (and girls) come in. I'm typically a very private and introverted person and have trouble talking to others about my feelings and problems. Being able to pull up any of my favorite YouTubers whenever I needed them was absolutely amazing to me. Each of them made me smile, laugh, and cry, and I can't thank them enough.

This week, I'll be writing an article for Odyssey about this. Next week, said article will be published. I'd love for each of these guys to be able to see and read my article. I don't want publicity or attention or sympathy; I just want them to know how important they've been to me throughout my "dark ages." They mean so much to me, and I really want them to know how much of an impact they've had on my life and how much they've helped me.
