he Nigerian Communications Commission has flagged-off the Mobile Number Portability service at a ceremony in Lagos.

The Executive Vice-Chairman of the NCC, Doctor EUGENE JUWAH said the service would deepen competition in the industry.

JUWAH said mobile phone subscribers can now migrate to a new network that offers better services without losing his existing number.

He however said there were rules to be followed for customers who desire to move from one network to another.
