@iamsrk @ritesh_sid @FarOutAkhtar I don't know what forced you all to shift the date of your movie @RaeesTheFilm ...I think you all are obviating from the facts how a film works at the boxoffice...A superstar, concrete content,twists and turns, music, masala and last but never the least a RELEASE DATE(plus no. of screens)...if an SRK movie releases on a day other than DIWALI or EID then half of his fans or even more will don't even know that his movie has released, howsoever good promotion he does for the same...again if he releases a mediocre movie with least content & less promotions on EID or DIWALI, it's going to work for him...HNY is an example..although being a crap it earned huge..so at the end of the day the thing that is to be taken into consideration is "if you release a movie on EID or DIWALI, just concentrate on no. of screens you get, that should be decent and bother least for any clash, let it be with anyone"...if EID date you averted on grounds of your friendship with @Adi_chopraYRF & @BeingSalmanKhan ...even then DIWALI was a much better option since the other reason you all mentioned was appropriate showcasing of your movie...on REPUBLIC DAY releasing @RaeesTheFilm is a pathetic idea since it's not going to work as it should be, for the reasons said afore...have you ever noticed whenever you make any status update on twitter or FB, majority likes and comments are from foreign fans..and they also never care to see any of your movies on any other than these two dates..they will not even know that your film has released...at last i would only say that @RaeesTheFilm consists of all the masala as required by movie goers so plz plz plz release it on EID or DIWALI of even 2017 but not on republic day or any other day...
