Was engaged to two boys at once, picked the one that gave her a diamond ring (sign of a good relationship, obviously). She kept a binder full of boy's pictures so she could re-organize them in order of dating-importance/interest. Mom's diary, "When I met him downstairs a little l8r, they both had tears in their eyes. He looks wonderful and was so excited about being home, he could hardly talk. I really don't know what she is going to do about all these boys. I think she likes them all pretty well, but is very much at-sea herself."
