"Heavy Rain, Flash Flood and Strong Wind-Wave"
No. 11 Time Issued : June 27, 2011

The monsoon trough lies across Laos and the upper part of northern Thailand while the rather strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. Abundant rain with isolated heavy rain is likely in the North, the Central and the East. Excessive rainfall is likely in the North and the East, people in the risky areas along foothills and waterways should beware of flash flood during 1-2 days. The areas include Mae Hong Son, Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Phayao, Nan, Phrae, Uttaradit, Tak, Sukhothai, Nakhon Nayok, Chanthaburi and Trat.
The wind-waves in the Andaman Sea and Gulf of Thailand are likely 2 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution.

Widely scattered to scattered rain and heavy rainfall in some areas during the first half of the week then widespread rain with heavy to very heavy rainfall in several areas. Flash floods occurred at Tak, Phayao and Nan provinces on 26 Jun and land slide at Lampang province on same day.
