It is disheartening to see that people end up leaving Gorakhpur because the city does not provide ample opportunities. Many generations back ancestors of Mr Naipaul, who got Nobel Prize in Literture in 2001, left Gorakhpur and settled in Trinidad. The trend continues. Gorakhpur needs to be developed as a major industrial hub so that its youngs doesnt have to leave the city. Tanvir Salim
