Our 2018 Tennessee Williams Tribute Scholar is Dr. Stuart Davis Noel.
Dr. Noel is Professor of English and Film at Perimeter College at Georgia State University. He has frequently contributed scholarly expertise to Columbus’ Tennessee Williams Tribute and also to the Tennessee Williams/New Orleans Literary Festival. He has studied extensively the life and work of Truman Capote, and is the founder and Chair of the Truman Capote Literary Society.
Join us Saturday morning, Sept. 8 @ 8 a.m. as we honor Dr. Noel and past scholars with — Tom’s Columbus, a breakfast of scholarly discussion and local lore surrounding the life and works of Tennessee Williams. TWT committee member Christopher Blank will lead the lively chat and of course Stuart Noel, Steve Pieschel, Kris Lee and others will participate - 300 Main Street in Columbus (the first home of Tennessee Williams)
