- #Thing9: LOVE #YouTube if only to watch funny cat videos. Tried #Animoto--didn't like it. Won't let me use Facebook pics, which is where all my good ones are. Won't let me do more than 5 secs of video. Potentially could be nice for a quick promo vid if you know and have exactly what you want.
- #Thing12: Hobbies? What are hobbies. I don't have time for hobbies! But, these were some pretty cool apps. Didn't try #Craftsy--like I said, not enough time. #RetailMeNot is awesome! A lot like #Groupon. #Epicurious looks neat and could be helpful if I remember to use it. #Yelp looks neat too, but not sure I'd have the time to review business.
- #Thing19Again: Sad days. I broke down and downloaded Google Hangouts and Snapchat because the new website I write for uses Hangouts and my favorite band uses Snapchat. Hangouts is ok, but Snapchat won't download. It knows I don't like it. :P
- #Thing4: Pinterest is a good place to get ideas, but as a whole it has too much going on and looks disorganized. It hurts my eye's just to scan through. Flipboard, on the other hand, is cool because I can flip through with one story on each page. I can even sync it to my social media accounts and flip through them. If only I had more time to actually read the stuff posted here.
- #Thing19: Had a Skype account for a while now. Like Twitter, rarely used it. Tested messaging my friend overseas. Works just like FB. Don't have many friends on it, but found out you can do conference calls with it. That could come in handy.
- #Thing17: Never used Google Drive before coming to CCPL, but now I <3 it! Could have tried a different cloud storage app, but since GD is what we use (and since it let me share 120 pictures with a friend without sending them individually), I'm gonna stick with it!
- #Thing7 The Kindle and Overdrive Apps work really well together. I was used to buying books through Kindle, but now I can enjoy free books and audiobooks through the library.
- #Thing22 Skipped to this one since I'm leaving for Europe in a month. Language apps might be helpful. Wanted #WordLens but not available for Samsung Phone. Found out #GoogleTranslate will work offline too if you download the language ahead of time. Sweet! Could come in handy at work, too, but would probably go to Erika first. :)
- #Thing1 I write too much. I'm trying to see if using JumboTweets actually works so I can go more indepth in my reviews of the other 22 Mobile Things that I'll be doing for work.
