- I think a lot of people don't understand what real romance is. Anyone can buy flowers, candy & jewellery, there's no love in that. The truly romantic things in life are those little things u do everyday to show u care. The way u hold her hand when u know she's scared, the random text in middle of the day or night, just to say "I love you" or "I miss you", dedicating her favourite song to her, telling her she's beautiful even she is in her sweats with her hair in a ponytail & no makeup, its putting ur favourite show on pause so she can tell u about her day, and laughing at her jokes, Even the really lame ones. It's slow dancing in the kitchen & kissing in the rain. Romance isn't about buying, its about giving. True romance is in the gestures.
