@HarryRoan @theshanklyway18 @DaveHendrick_AI @WarriorLFC @zodman100 You are entitled to your opinion that Skrtel a donkey, it's a game of opinions. If he always plays, he's bound to always be playing when we concede so that's no proof, but your subjective view of his abilities is your prerogative. I disagree that he's a donkey - I think he's decent, but not great most of the time. Yes, we all want LFC to have exceptional players but there aren't that many world-class CBs around and buying an expensive one is very much hit and miss - just look at Mangala for 30m to Citeh. For a solid defence, you need defenders who are decent and then they need to be well-drilled and organised. Skrtel is good enough for that and is not the main problem, in my view.
@HarryRoan @theshanklyway18 @DaveHendrick_AI @WarriorLFC @zodman100 Just because thing A (us conceding) happens at the same time (co-occurrence) as thing B (Skrtel playing) doesn't mean thing A is caused by thing B (causation). It's a common logical fallacy. Many things are true every time we concede - the ball is always round, the grass is always green, the fans are always singing but none of those things are the reason we concede. Even if Skrtel is the reason we concede, your argument for why is logically invalid.
