Steve Harvey made a huge mistake during the Miss Universe pageant. No one is going to deny that. What’s worse for him is that all the media outlets and the Internet have amplified his mistake. Arguably, only Miss Colombia feels worse than him.
After being publicly embarrassed for his mistake, and for the misspellings in his tweets, Steve Harvey will never forget this week. It’s also a time when he will find out who his real friends are. His real friends will not only be there during the good times, but the bad times as well.
Some mistakes that people make are unforgiveable. His mistake at the pageant doesn’t even come close. It reminds you of what Jesus. Paraphrase, he said, "Let him/her who hasn't made a mistake cast the first stone."
By that standard, only the most insecure among us would take delight in mistakes made by others.
