Just last week, a young woman was stabbed to death by her boyfriend. A few weeks earlier, another young woman was also murdered by her boyfriend. Fortunately, in that case, the young woman’s mother recognized something about the suspect when an ATM camera caught him using the stolen ATM card.
These type of incidents have been happening much too often. If the incidents were not so tragic, they would simply resemble any episode of The Jerry Springer Show. On Springer’s show, seemingly desperate women, with very low self-esteem are clinging to and fighting over guys most women wouldn’t give the time of day. They act as if those guys were the only guys on the planet.
Are some women so desperate for a man they will choose any man, or any male posing as a man?
Back in the day, there was a thing called courtship. It was during that period potential couples got to know each other. They didn’t immediate bombard the other person with a series of questions, but here are some of the things they wanted to know.
• Are you employed?
• Do you have children?
• Are you paying child support?
• Have you served time?
• Observe: Does the person have anger issues?
• Observe: Does the person have control issues?
Answers to these questions could give you a lot of insight into the person’s character.
In general, it should be easy to tell if a person has anger or control issues. But many women seem to miss the clues, and they wind up in abusive relationships, or dead.
For your safety and piece of mind, be more thoughtful about the guys you allow into your life.
Just remember, there are many decent guys out there, who will enhance your life. On the flip side, there are also the low life’s. Just do your homework.
