The water droplets
On my window,
slowly dripping down
And I can barley hear the sound
Of that old phone of mine that
You used to call me on
Staring.
Reminding me of what is now gone
I sit pondering
Blankly staring into my window pane
And I wonder if you think like me
Of how we were in the youth
Sitting in a dining booth
Sharing stories of better times
I sit alone
Always waiting to hear that
Old phone that
you used to call me on
But we've come to realize it's broken
Along with us
Water droplets collecting on my window pane
Have now become an ocean
Of things I wish would
Change
