Did you know that the University is now introducing Pull-Printing? Pull Printing will hold your print until you swipe your student card over a card reader attached to one of the printers. Swipe your card at ANY of either the black and white or Colour printers across campus, with a card reader attached, for example print in Park and swipe in Anglesea. Prints are held in the queues for 14 hours, so there is no need to rush and you’ve plenty of time to cancel prints held in the queue which you decide aren’t required, just log on to myprint.port.ac.uk and select Jobs Pending Release! If you need any help with this do not hesitate to speak to our friendly IT Helpers :)
If you are student at the University of Portsmouth, quite technical in nature and looking for a part-time job get in touch.

Staff using Windows XP machines will no longer be able to access their Gmail using the Chrome browser - This is due to a forced update from Google. Please use Internet Explorer to access your Google Mail account.
Mac users: You may notice an image of two desktops upon logging in. Please ignore this and be advised that we made a small update to our remote management software recently to allow us to access your PC's more efficiently once your permission has been sought.
IS are currently carrying out work to the wireless network to improve the service. This may result in a disrupted level of wireless connectivity. To help alleviate the issue you can either restart your device and renew their lease. If you require assistance with renewing your devices lease then please call the Service Desk on x7777.
